Who We Are
At South Texas Pathology Associates (STPA), our mission is to provide high-quality, accurate diagnostic information for both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology specimens, empowering our clinical partners to deliver the best possible patient care.
Our laboratories are CAP-accredited, and we are available to support patient care 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
We have been in practice for 40+ years and have grown to a team of 25+ board-certified pathologists and certified pathologists’ assistants.
All STPA members are board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with many having completed fellowships and advanced subspecialty training. We collaborate closely with Methodist hospital locations, particularly in the South Texas Medical Center (Northwest San Antonio), and direct comprehensive pathology services throughout San Antonio and beyond.
